Unfortunately, the group he’s currently in might be headed to their doom, and Daryl might end up being a casualty of the Reaper’s fixation on Maggie. His prior love interest, Leah, is part of this group and vouches for Daryl, which results in him inadvertently joining the Reapers. In episode 4, Daryl finds himself captured by the Reapers and is tortured by them for information about his compatriots. Daryl has managed to escape similar situations before, but everyone’s luck eventually runs out. At the close of the second episode of the season, he, Maggie, and the rest of the group headed to Meridian were under attack by the Reapers. However, Daryl continues to be a part of the group that’s in the most danger.
